Skagen Watches
The Skagen watch brand is produced by Skagen Designs Limited. Although named after Skagen in Denmark (a picturesque fishing village) the company is actually based the US. Skagen Designs was founded in 1987 by Henrik and Charlotte Jorst, both Danes from Copenhagen who had moved to the US.
As well as accessories you can buy other Skagen of Denmark items such as home, garden and office products however the company is probably best known for its fashion ranges including wristwatches and sunglasses.
Collections
Skagen produces wristwatches for both men and women. At the time of writing the collections are organised according to material with Steel, Titanium and Ceramic ranges. There is also the Black Label collection which includes Black & Rose Gold, Swiss Movement and Links designs.Many of the watches in the collections feature Skagen's signature mesh band in either black or grey. Other straps include lather, rubber, link and even ceramic.
For those who fancy a bit of sparkle on their wrist the Glitz styles feature Swarovski crystals.
More unusual designs in the Skagen range include the Solar which, as the name suggests, is powered by a solar cell battery. The Solar is available to buy in both blue and black face style.
