The Richemont Group

Richemont is one of the well-known multi-brand watchmakers. The full name of the company is Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, now based in Switzerland.

History

The group was founded in 1988 and owns a number of companies and interests. Most of these are in the fields of luxury goods - watches, jewelry, clothing, etc - however it also has an interest in the tobacco industry through British American Tobacco.
