Seiko Coutura Watches
The Seiko Coutura range of wristwatches has proved extremely popular. Seiko describe the Coutura collection as being "where classic and cutting edge come together". The name conjures up thoughts of haute couture.
The watches in this collection all have a solid, "chunky" look yet still manage to remain stylish. The outer surround edge of the face is what stands out most and gives these watches their distinctive style.
Within the basic Coutura look there is room for a wide variety of styles. The majority of the watches available to buy have black, gold or steel dials, straps and details in various combinations. For those who like a bit of "bling" you can also buy diamond models such as the ladies' SRKZ91 (twenty diamonds with mother-of-pearl dial) and the mens' SGED28 (forty diamonds).
There are also a variety of features including perpetual, chronograph and kinetic models. At the time of writing the Coutura collection consists of 17 mens' watches and 15 for the ladies.
It's difficult for me to pick a favourite, but the one I like best is probably the SRN023, a kinetic calendar watch with black strap and face with gold detail and see-thru case back. Definitely one for my Christmas list!
